Business or pleasure?
What a question and who among us hasn’t thought of mixing the two at times. The temptation rises despite our best judgement and it has been the ruin of many a man and woman. The Seven of Clubs tells us to
beware of someone of the opposite sex with work.
Although it is possible to find and build the most wonderful union with someone in the workplace it more than likely leads to trouble. Think of one of your previous relationships and partners. Would you like to see them at work everyday and for them to bring your personal problems to work? What would that do to your career?
You already know that it is fire and beware of touching the flame
no matter how much you are drawn to it like a moth.
Other times this can mean to be careful of how you communicate with the opposite sex in the workplace. We may think we are at a certain level of comfort with someone only to have them turn on us and claim that we are speaking or acting inappropriate. No matter the reality, beware that the accusation alone is enough to tarnish your name and reputation. Women and men working together in the modern workplace environment is fairly new, having been popularized in the last few decades and we have already seen huge gaps in power and how that can be manipulated to nefarious ends. My best advice is to be a complete professional in the workplace when it comes to interacting and engaging with the opposite sex. While there may be mutual interest romantically or simply the potential for deep friendship you must use extreme caution.
Lastly this card shows up to tell you that this situation can bring you a lot of trouble and to be wary.
Good luck!
