The Amazing Magicians
When the Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation (JSBC) decided to air a magic show in China they knew that they wanted to produce a TV show like no other. Mahdi Gilbert was one of the Western magicians asked to perform on the program. 650 million people watched him dazzle Fan Bingbing (范冰冰), Wang Xun, Dr. Shao-Gang Zhang, Juliana Chen, and Lee Asher on The Amazing Magicians (超凡魔术师). The TV show became the number one television program in China and the entire world for twelve weeks, regularly watched by hundreds of millions of people.
