In 2014, Mahdi Gilbert and Shane Cobalt set out to create a groundbreaking new magic show. It would be named after a classic magic book, Modern Magic by Professor Hoffman and feature centuries old magic that has never been seen by anyone alive. Enlisting the help of legendary magic designer, Jim Steinmeyer, they brought their vision to life. The show ran in Kouvola and Helsinki, Finland at the WHS Teatteri Union.
