Mahdi Gilbert gave a talk about how he got into magic and manipulating playing cards without hands and fingers. Mahdi is seen as a pioneer in sleight of hand because of his exploration into unknown territory in slight of hand and in this presentation he discusses the parallels between his journey and the journey of cardists who are also pushing the envelope and discovering new ways to handle playing cards.
