Everyone brings a deck of cards and gathers around their screen as Mahdi jumps from person to person performing his world famous magic, sleight of hand, and mind reading. You will be in the spotlight at times as Mahdi directs you with magic that literally breaks through the screen and happens in your own hands and home. You are not watching magic in this show, magic is happening to you.
We have all been to virtual events where we get bored and are constantly tempted by the distractions of our phone and the internet. We live in a world of constant distractions and Mahdi realized very quickly that the key to making virtual magic shows successful is to keep the experience highly engaging and interactive. Magic is traditionally performed from afar.
The audiences can see but they can’t examine anything and they can’t get close.
People are able to experience wonderful illusions but are separated by distance.
Close-up magic changes that dynamic and the audience is able to come close and surround the magician.
They are often given roles to examine the magician’s props and to participate in the magic.

Mahdi Gilbert began performing magic in your hands when he would be invited to be interviewed by radio stations. He would perform magic for the hosts but there was a disconnection from the audience who was listening at home, in their cars, or in the office. The audience could hear the drama unfolding in the radio studios but could only imagine the magic that was taking place…
Until…
Mahdi would speak directly to the listeners at home.

Take a sheet of paper and tear it into many pieces...

We will all do something together.”
From there the legend was born. Radio stations would be flooded with calls, emails, and letters. Listeners would passionately describe the magic that took place in their homes in their hands. No one listening had ever experienced anything like this before and could not believe it.

Magic In Your Hands is a virtual magic show that has been presented over Zoom, Cisco Webex, Google Hangouts & Google Meet, Skype, and a variety of video conferencing software. We understand that different groups are more comfortable with certain programs so we always prepare the show with you so that you can have ease of mind, complete access, and share administrative controls as a Co-Host.
When you book a virtual magic show you will receive Mahdi’s personal, collectable playing cards that he designed himself. We work with you and your budget so that, if you want, each guest can receive a deck of playing cards to use during the show but also keep as a souvenir of your time together.
Magic in your hands can be performed one-on-one or for a large online audience. We specialize in small groups to create an intimate atmosphere and the technology allows us to perfectly scale up to hundreds of participants. Our largest virtual magic shows have been attended by over 1000 guests.
