Mahdi Gilbert's live performance at Wondershow on December 13th, 2019 in NYC at The Sultan Room where he performed some of his classic magic in this unbelievable magic show.
Magic tricks performed in this show include a two card transposition, a classic piece of card magic by Hofzinser, an ambitious card routine, a triumph, a card to pocket, and an oil & water. All this sleight of hand material is performed while Mahdi Gilbert is surrounded and performed without hands.

One of my opening effects. Simple and iconic. This effect was popularized in our modern day by David Blaine who performed many versions on his magic TV specials. I always loved the effect and have many versions as well that I perform. Here is one of them.

This is my version of the classic Ambitious Card Routine plot. It's an effect I worked on for years to get the right feeling. The concept was for me just to repeat Less... Or Less... The idea is for the audience to go through a range of emotions, understand the plot, and lead themselves to an impossible condition.
