How Mahdi Gilbert’s Magic was First Aired on Television
This performance was filmed at Magic-Con 2012 for a few friends. I never wanted the video to be published online but it ended up online and went viral. Before I knew it ended up on this Right This Minute and was technically the first time my magic was seen on television. After that I freaked out because I wasn't a professional magician and didn't want all the attention I was getting. I literally received phone calls from dozens of TV shows that wanted to invite me on. I wasn't ready to perform magic on TV and turned down all the appearances and asked my friend to take the video off the internet. But nothing ever really gets removed from the internet so enjoy a young Mahdi Gilbert performing magic.
